WATERLOO - Wayne L. Buhr, 61, of Waterloo, died at home Friday, Jan. 20, of heart failure.

He was born July 14, 1950, in Waverly, son of John and Florence Borchert Buhr. He married Laura Dodge, and they later divorced. He married Susan Pickin, and they later divorced. He married Marlene Boehmer, and they later divorced. He then married Marsha Fisher on July 13, 2003, in Waterloo. She died June 1, 2010.

Mr. Buhr worked as a self-employed mechanic.

Survived by four daughters, Carrie (Ryan) Holcomb of Walnut Creek, Calif., Tessa (Nic) Amato of Moline, Ill., and twins Erica and Ashley Buhr, both of Waterloo; two grandchildren; his mother of Sumner; a brother, John W. of Sumner; and a sister, Cheryel (Denny Duggan) Stevenson of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by his father; and a daughter, Abigail Buhr.

Visitation: from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher on Kimball, where there will be a 7:30 p.m. prayer service. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
