WATERLOO - Mary Britton, 56, of Waterloo, died Friday, Jan. 20, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

She was born April 24, 1955, in Mason City, daughter of Irving and Donna Brown Hansen. She married Daniel C. Britton in 1979. They later divorced.

She graduated from Jesup High School in 1973. She received degrees from Hawkeye College in secretarial and medical secretarial study, and was a nurses aide at Ravenwood Care Center and Parkview Nursing & Rehab.

Survived by three sons, Dan, Elisha and Isiah, all of Cedar Falls; a daughter, Charity of Waterloo; two grandchildren; and a sister, Linda (Mike) Claggett of Jesup.

Preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Elijah Peter.

Family-directed services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Harvest Vineyard Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
