LA PORTE CITY - Geraldine F. Lange, 82, of La Porte City, died at home Sunday, Jan. 15.

She was born Dec. 12, 1929, near Tama, daughter of Hubert and Myrtle Jane Sturm. She married Everett H. Lange on June 30, 1948, in Brandon. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Lange graduated from the Braille School of the Blind, Vinton. She and her husband farmed in the Brandon area.

Survived by a daughter, Kaye Bumgarner of La Porte City; a son, Robert of Okeechobee, Fla.; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Private graveside memorial services will be held at a later date. Reiff Funeral Home & Crematory, Independence, is in charge of arrangements.
