LOCATION: Cedar Falls, IowaHelen Maxine Seavy Helen died November 29, 2006, at Western Home Communities Martin Center. She was born on November 7, 1918, in St. Anthony, Iowa, the daughter of Lester W. and Lila H. Deal Hambly.
She was united in marriage to Robert L. Seavey on August 9, 1941, in Kahoka, Missouri. He died September 20, 1985 at Iowa City Veterans Hospital.
She and her husband owned a Radio and T.V. shop in Cedar Falls. Helen was a Girl Scout leader for seven years, and a Senior Volunteer since 1986. She was a congregational member of First United Methodist Church in Cedar Falls.
She is survived by two brothers, Lloyd Hambly of Waterloo, and Milton Hambly of La Porte City, and a sister, Marie E. Clark of Cedar Falls.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; one brother, Lester W. Hambly; and a sister, Hazel Regan.
