WATERLOO - Florence A. Sutton, 78, of Waterloo, died Saturday, Jan. 14, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home of natural causes.

She was born Jan. 10, 1934, in Howard County, daughter of William and Thelma Wentworth Dozark. She married Gerald Arlen Sutton on Feb. 10, 1962, in Waterloo. He died Oct. 12, 1999.

Mrs. Sutton was employed for several years with Lohnes Photography and also was a homemaker.

Survived by six sons, Gerald Jr. and Paul, both of Waterloo, Pete (Kimberly) of Oak Grove, Mo., and Perry (Patricia), Patrick (Stephanie Webster) and George, all of Waterloo; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Diana Lauterbach of Grundy Center; and two sisters-in-law, Joyce Dozark of Lime Springs and Janice Wilson of Oklahoma.

Preceded in death by an infant daughter, Mary Elizabeth; a sister, Margaret Strand; and three brothers, Paul, William and David Dozark.

Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, with a 4 p.m. rosary and a 7 p.m. vigil service. Visitation also an hour before services Wednesday at the church.

Memorials may be given to Cedar Valley Hospice or the church.
