WATERLOO - Lois L. Muir, 69, of Waterloo, died Monday, May 26, at Allen Hospital.

She was born Aug. 25, 1938, in Ackley, daughter of Lawrence and Elinor Seelemeier Tack. She was later adopted by Cecil Trout. She married Jerry A. Muir on June 19, 1965, in Waterloo.

Mrs. Muir was a homemaker.

Survived by her husband: two sons, Allen (Kathy) of Cedar Falls and Mark of Waterloo; a daughter, Laurie (Ralph) Anfinson of Jesup; five grandchildren; and two brothers, Marlyn (Sharree) Trout of Ash Grove, Mo., and Elvin (Marcene) Tack of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by a grandson.

Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. today and for an hour before services Thursday at the funeral home.
