HUDSON - Harlan E. Prange, 65,of 355 E. Eldora Road, died Friday June 29, at University Hospitals in Iowa City after a lengthy illness.

He was born August 16, 1924, in rural Allison, son of Fred and Alma Constein Prange. He married Darlene Wood on March 1, 1947, in Austin, Minnesota.

He was a driver and salesman for Standard Distributing in Waterloo

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Sandra Neisen of Hopkins, Minnesota, and Patricia Eberhart of Minnetonka, Minnesota; four grandchildren; two brothers Clarence of Charles City and Clifton of Ames; and a sister, Lorene St. John of Waterloo.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Raymond, Verland, Clifford, and Lelan a grandson.

Services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Parrott & Wood Funeral Home, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Cemetery, Cedar Falls. Friends may call Monday from 3 to 9 p.m. and from 2 p.m. until services Tuesday. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
