Evalyn M. Caldwell, 73, of 412 Raymar Drive, died Thursday, July 12, at Covenant Medical Center at Kimball Avenue of natural causes.

She was born August 27, 1916, in Nashua, daughter of George and Minnie French Seine.

She married Paul H. Karns on April 29, 1934, in Nashua. They were later divorced. She became the wife of Dale C. Caldwell. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Caldwell worked at Rath Packing Co., retiring after 24 years.

Survivors include a son, Stan Karns of Waterloo; a daughter, Barbara Horstmann of Mesa, Arizona; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a half brother, Donald E. Beine of Plainfield.

She was preceded in death by a sister in infancy.

Services will be 10 am. Monday at The Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel downtown, with burial after cremation at a later date.

Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. today and an hour before services on Monday at the funeral home.
