F. Merrill Robbins, 72, of 1109 Hawthorne Ave., died Thursday, July 12, at Covenant Medical Center at Kimball Avenue from complications following-a heart attack.

He was born July 1, 1918, in Dows, son of Arthur and Treva Sellers Robbins.

He married Clodean Ringler on July 28,1948, in Sumner.

Mr. Robbins was a butcher at Rath Packing Co. for 30 years, retiring in 1980.

Survivors include his wife; and a sister, Edelle Lamprecht of Waterloo.

He was preceded in death by his father, his mother died in May: and a brother, Arthur.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Parrott & Wood Funeral Home, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until services on Monday at the funeral home. The family will be present from 2 to 4 p.m. today.
