CEDAR FALLS - Irvan F. Herzog, 96, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, Dec. 19, at Parkview Manor, Reinbeck.

He was born June 12, 1915, in Hubbard, son of Frederick W. and Anna W. Roll Herzog. He married Ruth Main on Dec. 26, 1959, in Nashua. She died in April 1989.

Mr. Herzog farmed south of Grundy Center until 1960, was employed with Calhoun Manufacturing, and retired from Viking Pump Co. in 1980.

Survived by a brother, Wayne (Darlene) of Cedar Falls; a stepdaughter, Geri Alberts of Denver, Colo.; four stepgrandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by four brothers, Paul, Frederick, Herbert and Elmer; and two sisters, Eleanore Russell and Gladys Meinert.

Memorial Services: 3 p.m. Thursday at Richardson Funeral Service, with inurnment later in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice or Westminster Church in Waterloo.
