WATERLOO - Lucille "Lucy" Catherine Geber, 90, of Bayport, Minn., formerly of Waterloo, died at home Saturday, Dec. 17.

She was born June 16, 1921, near Raymond, daughter of Albert and Catherine Albus Reuter. She married Eldon Nicholas Geber on Sept. 9, 1950, at St. John's Catholic Church, Waterloo.

Mrs. Geber attended Our Lady of Victory Academy (OLVA) and was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

Survived by her husband; three sons, Steven (Mary) of Atascadero, Calif., Gordon (Emma) of Chatsworth, Calif., and Craig (Mary Anne) of Torrance, Calif.; a daughter, Beverly (Jack Petrie) of Stillwater, Minn.; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Ralph, Vincent, Robert, Jerry and Norman; six sisters, Maxine Kiefer, Helen Nelson, Marge Reuter, Arlene Cook, Millie Wermerskirchen and Mary Stultz.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, where there will be a 4 p.m. rosary and a 7 p.m. vigil service. Visitation an hour before services Thursday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the church or Columbus High School.

Lucy was a loving friend and wife to her husband for 61 years and a devoted mother to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and volunteering in her parish as a member of the Holy Name Society, Ladies of the Altar, her quilting group and in the local community through Meals on Wheels and area convalescent homes.
