WATERLOO - Michael L. Gayman, 61, of Waterloo, died Saturday, Dec. 17, at Allen Hospital.

He was born May 2, 1950, in Waterloo, son of Jack and Patricia Teeple Gayman.

He graduated from Columbus High School, and attended Ellsworth Community College and UNI. Mr. Gayman was employed with John Deere for 30 years.

Survived by a sister, Toni (Bart) Gayman Snead of Augusta, Ga.; two aunts, Berta (Francis) Hoffman of Waterloo and Joyce (Fred) Smith of Dubuque; his best friend/brother, Mark (Jan) Sawyer of Waterloo; two nephews, Bart Snead and DJ Snead; four nieces, Tonya Fry, Jenny Williams, Autumn Wright and Robyn Snead; and three great-nephews, Cason and Jackson Wright, and Jacob Williams.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Monday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, with burial in Waterloo Cemetery. Public visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home, and will continue for an hour before services Monday at the funeral home.
