Harold Gust "Harry" Kohls, 76, passed away Monday, Dec. 5, at his home in Collinsville, Ill. Harry was born in Waterloo on Sept. 3, 1936, to the late Harry Kohls and Margaret Clow.

Harry is survived by his two sons, Tony Kohls and wife Shanan of Terrell, Texas, and Perry Kohls and wife Pam of Collinsville; four grandchildren, Christopher Kohls Kelly of Mayport, Fla., Jessica Kohls and Jarred Kohls, both of Grand Saline, Texas, and Colton Brody Kohls of Terrell.

While fulfilling his earthly life not only did Harry serve as a father and grandfather, but he also served as a cook in the U.S. Navy for four years. After his duty in the Navy, Harry worked for John Deere before retiring from the Engine Works after 33 years of service.
