Ceola (Nesfield) Brasch – December 28, 1891 – February 24, 1962

MRS. CEOLA BRASCH OF HUDSON IS DEAD

Hudson – Mrs. Ceola Brasch, 70, died at 1 p.m. Saturday at Sartori Memorial Hospital, Cedar Falls, following surgery.

She was born Ceola Nesfield, December 28, 1891, near Jesup, daughter of William and Lucy (Shipton) Nesfield. She was married at Waterloo March 22, 1911, to Arthur Brasch. She was a member of Sunshine Club and Womens Missionary Union.

Surviving are her husband along with three sons, Roland of Rt. 1 Waterloo; Claire of St. Ansgar; and LeRoy of Hudson; four sisters and 10 grandchildren.

The sisters are Mrs. E. A. Brown of Clear Lake; Mrs. I. W. Baish and Mrs. Elmer Sackett of Waterloo; and Mrs. Al Riley, Sr., of New Hampton. There are also 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Hudson Community Church with the Rev. A. Edward Strang, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Hudson Cemetery. The casket will be taken to the church at noon Tuesday from the Locke Funeral Home.
