CEDAR FALLS - Wesley R. Benson, 75, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, Nov. 30, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.

He was born March 17, 1936, in Orchard, son of Paul A. and Helen A. Hoisington Benson. He married Patricia B. Miller on June 24, 1962, in Clinton.

Mr. Benson graduated from Orchard High School in 1954 and attended barber school in Cedar Rapids. He was self-employed in beauty and barber supply sales throughout Northeast Iowa, a salesman for Slumberland and a courtesy driver for Community Motors.

Survived by his wife; a son, David (Ronda) of Waukee; four grandchildren, Donovan, Samantha, Andrew and Jessica Benson; two brothers, Darwin (Carole) of Cedar Rapids and John (Mickey) of Red Bluff, Calif.; and a sister, Imogene (Dean) Barton of Nottingham, Pa.

Preceded in death by a daughter, Terri Leigh; and three brothers, Paul Dean, Wayne and Guy.

Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church, with burial in Fairview Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Richardson Funeral Service, and for an hour before services Saturday at the church.
