WATERLOO - Ardella M. Canty, 79, of Waterloo, died Monday, Nov. 14, at Cedar Falls Health Care Center.

She was born May 23, 1932, in Fayette, daughter of Walter and Maggie Jach Fish. She married Jack Canty on April 23, 1954, in Waterloo.

Mrs. Canty graduated from Fayette High School in 1949. She was the secretary for Drs. Moes and Jeffries for 32 years, retiring in 1985.

Survived by her husband; and a sister, Darlene Messerli of Volga.

Preceded in death by four brothers, Harley, Harold, Howard and Walter Fish; and a sister, Mildred Hamilton

Services: 1:30 p.m. Friday at Our Savior Lutheran Church, preceded by an hour of visitation, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements by Locke Funeral Home.
