WATERLOO - Gerald M. "Jerry" Reuter, 76, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, May 17, at his daughter's home in Parkersburg of natural causes.

He was born Sept. 24, 1929, in Raymond, son of Albert J. and Catherine Albus Reuter. He married Norma M. Condon Sept. 24, 1955, at St. John's Catholic Church. She preceded him in death.

Mr. Reuter was employed by Rath Packing Co., and later for McElmeel Painting and then Friendship Village. He served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a member of Queen of Peace Parish and Evansdale AMVETS.

Survived by five sons, Don (Donna), Brian (Kim) and Greg, all of Waterloo, Mark (Karen) of Geneva and Jim (Michelle) of Kalispell, Mont.; three daughters, Colleen (David) Little of Parkersburg, Barbara (Mike) Lunde of Waterloo and Mary (Curt) Boysen of Elk River, Minn.; 30 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Millie Wermerskirchen of Gilbertville and Lucille Geber of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by his wife; a son, Daniel; four brothers, Vincent, Ralph, Bob and Norman; and five sisters, Helen, Mary, Marge, Maxine and Arlene.

Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Queen of Peace Parish, with burial at a later date, following cremation, in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Locke Funeral Home, where there will be a 4 p.m. rosary and a 7 p.m. vigil.
