Jon David Zook was born May 24, 1957 in Beatrice, Nebraska: the son of Donald G. and Mary Ann (Casebeer) Zook. He graduated from East Waterloo High School, then served in the United States Navy from 1979 to 1981. Jon was a member of the Evansdale AMVETS Post 31.

Jon passed away at his home Saturday, November 5, at the age of 54.

Jon is survived by a brother Don (Maxine) Zook, Jr. of Berthoud, Colorado and two sisters: Deb (Steve) Nungesser and Linda (David) Hippen both of Lincoln, Nebraska.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
