Dorothy E. Muldoon, of Appleton, Wis., died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, at St. Paul Elder Services, Kaukauna, Wis., from complications of Alzheimer's disease. She was born April 20, 1917, in Manly, daughter of Clarence and Agnes (Hannon) Wilson. After moving to Waterloo and working for Neumode Hosiery, she met and later married Lyle Muldoon on Jan. 16, 1941. Dorothy and Lyle opened Muldoon's Body Shop in 1956 in Waterloo and operated it until their retirement. She was a charter member of Blessed Sacrament Parish, Waterloo. After retiring and moving to Guttenberg, she became a member of St. Mary Parish.

Dorothy is survived by two children, Patrick (Mary) Muldoon of Fairbank and Kathy Bruns of Appleton; seven grandchildren, Shawn Muldoon, Shelly Deal, Kelly (John) Armon, Patrick (Jen) Muldoon Jr., Scott Buzzard, Corey Muldoon and Anthony (Amy) Bruns; and six great-grandchildren, Riley Muldoon, Kelsey Muldoon, Brook Wall, Madyson Deal, Aiden Armon and Chloe Armon.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle; a sister, Mildred Dillon; and a great-grandson, Conner.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, Nov. 12, at 10:30 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 650 Stephan Ave., Waterloo, with the Rev. Tom McDermott officiating. Family and friends may visit at the church on Saturday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will take place in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Waterloo.

Dorothy's family would like to say a special thank you to the nurses and staff of St. Paul Elder Services for their compassionate care.
