CEDAR FALLS - Kenneth R. Christopher, 86, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, Oct. 26, at Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community in Waverly.

He was born July 18, 1925, in Melbourne, son of Seth L. and Blanche McCain Christopher. He married Nona L. Miller on July 15, 1944, in Mason City.

Mr. Christopher worked at Rath Packing Co. for 18 years and was a machine designer with Doerfer Engineering. He also taught drafting at Hawkeye Tech for five years.

Survived by his wife; two sons, Curt (Jane) of Urbandale and Jim (Carol) of Vonore, Tenn.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a brother, James.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Western Home Chapel, Cedar Falls, with burial in Garden of Memories, Waterloo. Public visitation from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Richardson Funeral Home, and for an hour before services Monday at the chapel.

Memorials may be directed to American Diabetes Association, Alzheimer's Association or Autism Society.
