WATERLOO - Ava Mary Putney, daughter of Matthew J. and Afton Simpson Putney, was stillborn Tuesday, Oct. 18, at Covenant Medical Center.

Survived by her parents of Waterloo; maternal grandparents, Jamie and Betty Simpson of Johnston; paternal grandmother, Barb Putney of Urbandale; paternal grandfather, Jim (Cathy) Putney of Ankeny; maternal great-grandparents, Harold and Mary Simpson of Medford, Ore.; paternal great-grandfathers, Tom (Donna) Villirillo of Bella Vista, Ark., and Lee (Janet) Putney of Des Moines; and paternal great-grandmother, Carol Putney of Des Moines.

Preceded in death by maternal great-grandparents, Percy and Helen Cadwell; and paternal great-grandmother, Mary Villirillo.

Graveside Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Glendale Cemetery, 4909 University Ave., Des Moines, 50311.
