CEDAR FALLS - Ursula M. Dumer, 89, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, Oct. 17, at the Western Home Communities Elizabeth E. Martin Health Center.

She was born Nov. 27, 1921, in Ossian, daughter of Othmar and Theresa Moellers Moser. She married Joseph H. Dumer on Jan. 14, 1941, in Ossian. He died Feb. 27, 1957.

Mrs. Dumer earned her LPN degree and worked at the Lawn City Nursing Home in Cedar Falls and then the Western Home, retiring as charge nurse in 1985.

Survived by four sons, John (Shirley) and Stephen (Linda), both of Cedar Falls, Dean (Nancy) of Waterloo and Ned (Patricia) of Grundy Center; four daughters, Deanna (LaVern) Walvatne and Martha (William) Zuck, both of Waterloo, Nora (Larry) Ohlsen of Belvidere, Ill., and Pauline Hanson of Cedar Falls; 28 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; two brothers, Urban (Rose) Moser of Oelwein and Cleo Moser of Waterloo; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by a grandson, Timothy Zuck; two sisters, Delores Lynch and Germaine Dirr; a daughter-in-law, Denise Dumer; and a son-in-law, Dwight Hanson.

Services: 10 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Cedar Falls, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery, Ossian. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Richardson Funeral Home, where there will be a 4 p.m. rosary and 7 p.m. vigil. Visitation also an hour before services Friday at the church.
