WATERLOO - Sharon Rae "Sami" Christians Geer, 57, of Waterloo, died Friday, Sept. 30, at Covenant Medical Center.

She was born May 6, 1954, in Waterloo, daughter of Ed and Lois Christians. She attended nursing school at Allen Hospital and worked as a registered nurse in both Iowa and Minnesota.

Survived by two sons, Benjamin of Anaheim Hills, Calif., and Jacob of St. Paul, Minn.; a daughter, Grace Geer of St. Cloud, Minn.; children of Jay Geer of St. Paul; her mother of Waterloo; and a sister, Deb Crew of Rowley.

Preceded in death by her father.

Celebration of Life: noon to 4 p.m. Nov. 7 at the Rotary Reserve, 5932 North Union Road, Cedar Falls. The family asks you bring any photos as well as memories and stories to share.
