EVANSDALE - Alyce Paulyne Jacob Pritchard, 74, of Evansdale, died Thursday, Sept. 22, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City of natural causes.

She was born Sept. 3, 1937, in Lehigh, daughter of Paul E. and Olive F. Waggoner Jacob. She married Eddie D. Pritchard June 5, 1955, in Lehigh.

She graduated from Lehigh High School in 1955. Mrs. Pritchard was a secretary and bookkeeper for School Bus Sales for 16 years, retiring in 1994. She was a member of Kimball Avenue United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, serving on several committees, and a member of the Red Hat Ladies.

Survived by her husband; a son, David (Kimberly) of Waterloo; a daughter, Teresa (Dennis) Kaltenheuser of Elkhart; three sisters, Beverly Williams, Geraldine Dellachiesa and Paulette (Darrell) Curtis, all of Lehigh; and four grandchildren, Amanda and Allison Pritchard, and Karen and Michael Kaltenheuser.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Buddy and Charles Jacob; and three brothers-in-law, Modio Dellachiesa, Donald Smith and Elmer Williams.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Kimball Avenue United Methodist Church, Waterloo, with burial at 2:30 p.m. in Elkhart Cemetery, Elkhart. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Locke Funeral Home, Waterloo.
