WATERLOO - Goldie E. Boleyn, 92, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, Sept. 21, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

She was born Dec. 24, 1918, in Yukon, Mo., daughter of Jesse and Alte Mae Boster Willhite. She married Vern O. Boleyn Sept. 14, 1940, in Eugene, Mo. He died July 28, 1988.

She graduated from high school in Summersville, Mo. The couple owned and operated Boleyn Grocery Store for 50 years, retiring in 1996.

Survived by a daughter, Beverly (James) Toppin of Apache Junction, Ariz., and Oelwein; three grandchildren, Michelle Lynn Tucker of Waterloo, Craig Eugene (Robin) Arnold of Cedar Falls and Rodney Dean (Robin) Toppin of Surpise, Ariz.; six great-grandchildren, Adam and Jessica Arnold, Jennifer and Joseph Tucker, and Brandon and Ashley Toppin; two great-great-grandchildren, Haley Lynn Tucker and Joseph Holt; a brother, Lennis (LoRetha) Willhite of Waterloo; and a sister, Cleo Wait of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by an infant son, Ronald Eugene; three brothers, Glen, Dewey and Hewey Willhite; and a sister, Jewell Oman.

Services: 1 p.m. Monday at Locke Funeral Home, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Public visitation from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice Home.
