CEDAR FALLS - Roger F. Masters, 76, of Cedar Falls, died at home Monday, Sept. 19.

He was born Jan. 5, 1935, in Independence, son of Glen C. and Viola E. Crowell Masters. He married Kay L. Bass Aug. 15, 1958, in New Hartford.

Mr. Masters graduated from New Hartford High School and served in the U.S. Army. He received a bachelor's degree in business from University of Iowa. He was employed with Sears and Roebuck in Waterloo for 28 years, retiring as a salesman. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Cedar Falls.

Survived by his wife; two sons, Kevin (Colleen) of Chetek, Wis., and Jeffrey (Melinda) of Nashua; two daughters, Kellie (Ric) Olsen of Guatemala City, Guatemala, and Jackie (Matt) Gibson of Milwaukee; 11 grandchildren; two sisters, Janice Grandon of New Hartford and Glenda (Dennis) Boesiger of Lincoln, Neb.; three sisters-in-law, Elsie Weignam of Allison, Rosalee McMullen of Cedar Falls and Lucille Bass of New Hartford; and a brother-in-law, Alden Davidson of Plainfield.

Preceded in death by his parents; and a stepfather, Martin Holm.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, with burial with full military rites in Fairview Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Public visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Richardson Funeral Home, and also for an hour before services Friday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Roger enjoyed a lifetime of worldwide travel, photography and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends.
