WATERLOO - Susan M. Russell, 63, of Waterloo, died Thursday, Sept. 15, at her niece's home in Waterloo of cancer.

She was born Nov. 7, 1947, in Caldwell, Kan., daughter of Glenn and Betty Miller Bagg. She married Robert Berger in Waterloo and they were later divorced. She then married Winston Russell in Waterloo and they were later divorced.

Mrs. Russell was a custodian at Waterloo Community Schools for 29 years, retiring in 2010.

Survived by: three sons, James "Jimmy" (Marcy Pelton) Berger of Cedar Falls, Jonathon Webster of Waterloo and Jason of Cedar Rapids; a brother, James "Jim" (Judy) Bagg of Waterloo; a sister, Debra "Debbie" Berger of Waterloo; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents; and a great-grandson.

Memorial services: 11 a.m. Monday at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, Cedar Falls, with inurnment in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation will be held for two hours before services Monday at the church. The body will not be present. Garden View Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
