CEDAR FALLS - Rodney A. Sinclair, 58, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, Sept. 16, at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo.

He was born March 26, 1953, in Cedar Rapids, son of Donald J. and Margauret Loveland Sinclair.

He graduated from Forest City High School in 1972 and attended Waldorf College. He received a degree in horticulture from Kirwood Community College and a bachelor's degree in art from the University of Iowa. He was a security guard with the San Francisco Airport, and worked at Kay Enterprises in Janesville and Bertch Cabinets in Waterloo.

Survived by his mother of Cedar Falls; a sister, Cora of Omaha, Neb.; a brother, Edward of Appleton, Wis.; and a nephew, Samuel Sinclair of Appleton.

Preceded in death by his father; a brother, Nathan; and maternal grandparents, Lester and Rosabel Loveland.

Memorial services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church, Cedar Falls, with inurnment in Oakland Cemetery, rural Janesville. Public visitation will be held for an hour before services Tuesday at the church. Richardson Funeral Service is assisting the family.

Memorials may be directed to American Diabetes Association or the Cedar Bend Humane Society.
