Ardis Elaine Moorehead, 75, of Waterloo, died Monday, November 3, 2008, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics of natural causes.

She was born November 7, 1932 in Albert Lea, Minnesota, daughter of George and Violet Kilen Stolz. She married William Earl Moorehead July 30, 1957 in Preston, Minnesota. He preceded her in death on January 18, 2008.

Mrs. Moorehead was employed at McKenna Studios before retiring.

Survivors include two daughters, Franceine (Jerry) Winston of Mesa, Arizona and Shelly Theroith of Waterloo; four brothers, Robert Goodman, John Goodman, Bud Stolz, and George Stolz; one granddaughter, Serena Scott; and two great grandchildren, Nicole Jones and Eric Pearson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother, Allen Stolz; and one sister, Audrey Horgan.

Services will be 3:00 P.M. Monday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, with cremation to follow. Friends may call from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the family in care of Shelly Theroith, 125 Kern St., Waterloo, Iowa 50703.
