WATERLOO - Treasure Sanders, 70, of Waterloo, died Thursday, Sept. 1, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

She was born Dec. 3, 1940, in Waterloo, daughter of Ansel Everett and Bessie Mae Hudson Williams.

Ms. Sanders attended Waterloo schools. She was a nurse's aide at St. Francis Hospital and several nursing homes. She was a member of Queen of Peace Parish.

Survived by a son, James Williams of Waterloo; a daughter, Susan (Gala Gage) Williams of Waterloo; two grandchildren, Irvin L. Williams and J.P. Brown Jr., both of Waterloo; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Hudson Williams of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Derelys Head and Dixie Cronan; and a brother, Walter Williams.

Family-directed memorial Services: 1 p.m. Saturday at Celebrations First Assembly of God Church. The Kearns Service assisted the family.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Treasure enjoyed taking care of people and helping others throughout her life.
