WATERLOO - Bethel M. Perrin, 90, of Waterloo, died Saturday, Aug. 27, at Liebe Care Center, Greene, of natural causes.

She was born Feb. 26, 1921, in Parkersburg, daughter of Harry and Emma Elizabeth Jensen Levey. She married Duane "Danny" Perrin on June 23, 1940, at the Little Brown Church, Nashua. He died June 7, 1992.

Mrs. Perrin had been a member of Grace United Methodist Church for more than 40 years and was presently a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church.

Survived by two sons, Mark (Eileen) of Charlotte, N.C., and James (Jean) of Waterloo; a daughter, Nancy (Dean) Johnson of Greene; five grandchildren, Michelle (David) Sloyer and Sean and Frank Perrin, all of Waterloo, Beth (John) Sholtz of Pekin, Ill., and Geoffrey Perrin of Charlotte; four great-grandchildren, Riley Sloyer and Cassie Pates, both of Waterloo, and Dalton and Marisa Sloyer of Traer.

Preceded in death by a son, Bruce; a brother, William "Bill" Levey; and a brother-in-law, Paul T. Perrin.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul United Methodist Church, preceded by an hour of visitation, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Garden View Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the church or Cedar Bend Humane Society.
