WATERLOO - Daniel Eugene Tucker, 51, of Iowa City, formerly of Waterloo, died Friday, Aug. 19.

He was born July 19, 1960, son of Dallas Lee and Mary E. Finger Tucker.

Mr. Tucker attended Waterloo public schools, earned his high school diploma through Kirkwood Community College, studied with Education for Ministry program of the School of the South and was a skilled carpenter.

Survived by a brother, Theodore (Debbie) of Waterloo; and two sisters, Linda (Daniel) Deutmeyer of Guttenberg and Laura (Peter) Gajewski of The Woodlands, Texas.

Preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Matthew; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Memorial services: 3 p.m. Sept. 3 at First Baptist Church, Iowa City. Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service, Iowa City, is in charge of arrangements.
