CEDAR FALLS - Joan Lee Babcock, 77, of Cedar Falls, died at home Tuesday, July 26.

She was born Dec. 10, 1933, in Cedar Falls, daughter of Clyde K. and Esther Mathes Cook. She married Robert L. Babcock on Oct. 3, 1953, in Cedar Falls.

Mrs. Babcock graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1951.

Survived by her husband; a son, Kerry of Cedar Falls; three daughters, Tammy (Fred Barker) Holly of Rogers, Ark., Sheilah (Robin) Nunnally of Cedar Falls and Tara (Rex) Meyer of Waterloo; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; her mother of Cedar Falls; and four sisters, Jeanette (Wayne) Ware and Janice (Ron) Heath, both of Cedar Falls, Joyce (Jess) Caughron of Waterloo and Jeri Ann (Bob) Makinster of Rockford.

Preceded in death by two sons, Shawn and Kevin; and two grandchildren.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. today and for an hour before services Friday at the funeral home.
