WATERLOO - Judith A. Schneider, 64, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, July 27, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

She was born Sept. 10, 1946, in Austin, Minn., daughter of Richard and Jewell Gallentine Blowers. She married Charles R. Schneider in 1964 in La Crosse, Wis. He died in 1995.

Mrs. Schneider graduated from Aquinas High School, La Crosse, and La James College of Hair Design, Waterloo. She was a self-employed cosmetologist in the Waterloo and Cedar Falls area for more than 30 years.

Survived by two sons, Bob of Denver and Steve (Jennifer) of Waterloo; nine grandchildren, Bobby, Sydney, Shasta, Shana, Amanda, Nicole, Samantha, Jordan and Shannon; her mother, Jewell Gallentine of Muscoda, Wis.; two sisters, Nancy Wright and Peggy (Gary) Severson, both of Sparta, Wis.; two brothers, David (Lori) Blowers and Dean Milton Blowers, both of La Crosse; and her companion, Bob Baumgartner of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by her father; and a daughter-in-law, Tina Schneider.

Family-directed memorial service: 11 a.m. Friday at Grace Baptist Church, 3829 Hammond Ave., with inurnment at a later date. The Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel is assisting the family.

Judith loved to read, enjoyed watching TV detective shows and liked to follow NASCAR racing.
