WATERLOO -Orville Wayne "Buddy" Elliott, 60, of Portage, Ind., formerly of Waterloo, died Sunday, July 3, at Porter Hospital, Valparaiso, Ind.

He was born May 11, 1951, in Waterloo, son of Oscar and Rita Edwardson Elliott. He married Judy Dressbaugh in Indiana.

Mr. Elliott was a retired truck driver and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

Survived by his wife; a son, George of Portage; two daughters, Abbey Kurth of Anamosa and Shannon Cleven of New Jersey; five grandchildren; three brothers, William Elliott of Waterloo, Steve Elliott of Henning, Minn., and Ray James of Cedar Falls; and four sisters, Leslie Rindels and Shirley Elliott, both of Waterloo, Rosemary Wilson of Beloit, Ohio, and Tina Davidson of Plainfield.

Preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Eugene; and a sister, Patricia Huntley.

Services: will be held at a later date; his body was cremated. Rees Funeral Home, Portage, was in charge of arrangements.
