WATERLOO — Leo A. Miller, 76, of Waterloo, died Friday, June 24, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home of natural causes.

He was born April 10, 1935, in Independence, son of Fred Roy and Mary Wilhelmina Kimmerle Miller.

He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1952 and was honorably discharged in 1955. Mr. Miller was a meat-cutter at Muether’s in Waterloo and Randall’s in Winona, Minn. He then worked for IBM and Badger Equipment in Rochester, Minn., and was a bar supplier with Fahr Beverage in Waterloo.

Survived by a son, Rick (Michelle) of Urbandale; two daughters, Kim (Harlan) Neuendorf of Waterloo and Rhonda of Ankeny; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Pearl Brislawn of Oelwein and Edith Saindan of Colorado.

Preceded in death by a brother, Paul.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery, Independence. Military rites will be conducted by Evansdale AMVETS Post 31 and Waterloo AMVETS Post 19. Public visitation from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories is assisting the family.
