Deborah Dianne (Wilkins) Denney of Woodstock, Ga., passed away on June 18, 2011, due to complications of cancer with her family by her side.

She was born in Waterloo on May 29, 1950, to Donald and Jeannine Wilkins. She graduated from West High School in 1968.

She is survived by her parents, Donald and Jeannine Wilkins of Waterloo; her children, Amy Gage of Douglasville, Ga., Chad (Kris) Lay of Marshall, Wis., and Jamie (Joseph) Landers of Marietta, Ga.; grandchildren, Brandon Gage, Shelby and Seth Lay, and Kelsey and Zane Landers; sister, Brenda (Dan) Mettner; brother, Donnie (Sheila) Wilkins; sister, Tempest (Kevin) Fischels; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by both her paternal and maternal grandparents.

Services will be held at Trinity American Lutheran Church, 605 W. Fourth St., Waterloo, IA 50704. Visitation will be Thursday, June 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. The memorial service will be Friday, June 24, at 11 a.m. Arrangements by SouthCare Cremation Society and Memorial Centers, Marietta, Ga., (770) 420-5557.
