CEDAR FALLS - Terry Wayne Mikkelsen, 56, of Cedar Falls, died at home Sunday, June 5.

He was born May 20, 1955, in Waterloo, son of Elmer and JaNette Swick Mikkelsen. He married Julie L. King on July 7, 1979, in Cedar Falls, and they later divorced.

Mr. Mikkelsen graduated from Dike High School in 1973 and was employed as a CNC machinist with John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works, retiring in 1991.

Survived by a son, Luke of Waterloo; a daughter, Holly Lynn Mikkelsen of Waterloo; three grandchildren, Noah, Madissen and Layne Bolton; his mother of Cedar Falls; and a sister, Jo (Larry) Depping of Reinbeck.

Preceded in death by his father; a sister, Cindy Olsen; and a niece, Rhiannon Olson.

Public visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Richardson Funeral Home, Cedar Falls, with private family burial in Fredsville Cemetery, rural Cedar Falls.
