WATERLOO - Roberson E. "Earl" Barrow, 77, of Waterloo died Wednesday, May 4, at Allen Hospital.

He was born April 17, 1934, in Greenville, N.C., son of Simmie and Thelma Robinson Barrow. He married Ruth A. Bertram May 5, 1962, in Waterloo.

Mr. Barrow served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict and was employed in assembly with John Deere Tractor Works, retiring in 1996.

Survived by his wife, Ruth; three brothers, Jimmie (Sue) and Lavern, all of Newport News, Va., and Tommy of Lanexa, Va.; a sister, Hilda Shelley of Portsmouth, Va.; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Preston; and a sister, Betty.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Richardson Funeral Home, Cedar Falls, with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery, rural Cedar Falls. Military Honors conducted by the Cedar Falls AMVETS Post 49. Public visitation from 2 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home, and for an hour before services Monday at the funeral home.
