CEDAR FALLS - Dorine S. "Dolly" Ely, 76, of Eldora, formerly of Cedar Falls, died Monday, May 2, at Eldora Nursing and Rehab.

She was born April 26, 1935, in Waterloo, daughter of George and Genevieve Perry Ely. She graduated from Orange High School, Orange Township, and operated a kennel at her home on Big Rock Road, where she trained show dogs.

Survived by a cousin, Leland Perry of Rolla, Mo.

Preceded in death by a son, Timothy G. Meyers; and a sister, Virginia.

Services: 2 p.m. Thursday at Locke Funeral Home, Waterloo, preceded by an hour of visitation, with burial in Orange Township Cemetery.
