EAGLE CENTER - Edward Strubel, 91, of Reedsburg, Wis., formerly of Eagle Center, died Tuesday, April 26, at Oakpark Place, Baraboo, Wis.

He was born April 10, 1920, in Eagle Center, son of William and Helene Schmitt Strubel. He married Loretta McCulley in 1957. She died in 1996. He then married Alice Kachnowicz.

Survived by his wife; a son, Robert (Susan) of Reedsburg; three grandchildren, Robbie, Jennifer and Emily Strubel; two great-grandchildren, Aaron and Alex Burdick; three stepsons, Matt and Dan Burdick and Robert Kachnowicz; a stepdaughter, Marie Banach; a sister, Ann Herrmann of Oak Creek, Wis.; and a brother, Albert (Betty) of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by four sisters, Mary, Josephine, Dorothy and Helene; two brothers, Charles and Bill; and a grandchild.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Church, Reedsburg, with visitation beginning at 9 a.m. Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg, is in charge of arrangements.
