CEDAR FALLS, IOWA - Kenneth L. Ehrhardt, 85, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, April 23, at Cedar Falls Health Care Center.

He was born on January 25, 1926, in Fairfield, Iowa, the son of Roy and Marjorie Burr Ehrhardt. He married Betty Henrickson, and they later divorced. He married Wilma Hansen on January 3, 1981, in Nashua.

Mr. Ehrhardt served in the Iowa State Guard and was employed by Cedar Valley Highway Paving Co. for 28 years, retiring in 1988. He was a member of Cedar Falls AMVETS Post 49 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Cedar Falls.

Survived by his wife; three sons, Wayne (Chris) of Marshalltown, Russell (Barb) of Manley and Monte (LaDean) Hansen of Cedar Falls; two daughters, Cindy (Bob) Bentley of Janesville and Betty Crook of Missouri; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and two sisters, Jackie Stecker of Boone and Jean Goode of Houston, Texas.

Preceded in death by a son, Leroy; two grandsons, Tom and Tim; and a daughter-in-law, Diana Ehrhardt.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with burial in Hillside Cemetery with military honors conducted by Cedar Falls AMVETS Post 49. Public visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, and for an hour before services Thursday at the funeral home.
