WATERLOO - Betty G. Jones, 101, of Waterloo, formerly of Chillicothe, Mo., died Friday, April 22, in her home at Rosewood Estates.

She was born Sept. 26, 1909, in Chula, Mo., daughter of John and Emma Sam Ishmael. She married Arthur Jones Aug. 10, 1929, in Chillicothe, Mo. He preceded her in death.

She graduated from Chula High School in 1926. She was a glove sewer and closer at Lambert Gloves for 32 years. The couple farmed near Chillicothe until retirement.

Survived by a daughter, Barbara Fettkether of Waterloo; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.

Preceded in death by a daughter, Billie Lucas; a sister, Mildred Sullivan; three sons-in-law; and a grandson, David Fettkether.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Lindley Funeral Home, with burial in Edgewood Cemetery, both in Chillicothe. Public visitation from noon until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.

The family would like to express a heartfelt thanks to the staff of Rosewood Estates, Hospice, and to all the friends that stopped to visit Betty while residing there.
