WATERLOO - William Bruce May, 90, of Lakeview, Ark., formerly of Waterloo, died Sunday, April 10, at Hospice Home, Mountain Home, Ark.

He was born April 22, 1920, in Dyer County, Tenn., son of Charlie and Lizzie Gaynor May. He married Margaret Faith Pfaltzgraff on June 6, 1969, in Allison.

Mrs. May attended schools in Dyersburg, Tenn., then served in the U.S. Army from 1945-1947. He worked at John Deere as a tool and die maker.

Survived by his wife; a sister, Kate L. White of Dyersburg; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; and nieces and nephews.

William enjoyed skeet shooting, fishing and hunting.

Preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Phyllis C. "Phyz" May; and three brothers, Edward, Robert and Jack.

Services 1:30 p.m. Friday at Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home, Dumont, with burial in Dumont Cemetery. Visitation for an hour before services Friday at the funeral home. The Rev. Ralph Wedeking will officiate the service.
