Naomi C. Foster, 74, of Waterloo, died Monday morning, March 28, 2011, at Allen Memorial Hospital of natural causes.

She was born January 17, 1937 in Waterloo, the daughter of Charles and Catherine Gill Troyer. She married Danny Foster on July 2, 1955 in Waterloo.

Naomi was a beautician for 50 years and owned and operated the Hair Port for a number of years.

She is survived by her husband;, four sons, Steven (Adrianne) Foster of Chicago, IL, Jeffery (Denise) Foster of Denver, CO, Matthew (Fonda) Foster of Waterloo and Jason (Julie) Foster of Council Bluffs; one daughter, Lori (Greg) Anderson of Portland, OR; one sister, Opal Abben of San Juan, TX; fourteen grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by one son, Mark Foster; two brothers, Leonard and Leon; and two sisters, Dorothy Smith and Gwen Gilbert.

Services will be10 A.M. Thursday at the First Church of the Open Bible with burial in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Friends may call at the Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball from 4 – 6 P.M. Wednesday and an hour before services at the church.
