WATERLOO - Darryl L. Proctor, 47, of Waterloo, died Thursday, March 24, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home of natural causes.

He was born Nov. 18, 1963, in Peoria, Ill., son of Eddie and Ardie Griffin Proctor II. He married Tami Tipton on Jan. 14, 2004, in Emporia, Kan.

Mr. Proctor had been employed at Iowa Beef Products, Garden City, Kan.

Survived by his wife of Emporia; his father of Peoria; his mother of Waterloo; and two brothers, Eddie "Tim" III of Blaine, Minn., and Orlando (Angi Burford) of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by a sister, Tina Hoskins; maternal grandparents, Thomas and Ollie Griffin; paternal grandmother, Ruth Proctor; and an uncle, Thomas Griffin.

Services 1 p.m. Thursday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, with cremation to follow. Visitation from 11 a.m. until services Thursday at the funeral home.
