Evansdale~ RICHARD W. “RICH” DRISCOLL

Rich Driscoll, 63, died at his home on Saturday, April 12, 2008, of Congestive Heart Failure.

Rich was born October 12, 1944, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Arnold and Agnes (Crock) Driscoll.

He was united in marriage to Julie K. Wright on August 3, 1989, in Waterloo, Iowa. He graduated from Tipton High School and Pitze’s School of Cosmetology. He had been a drummer with several country bands in the area. Rich retired from the John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works in 1992.

Surviving Rich are his wife of Evansdale; two sons, Aaron (Melissa Martin) Driscoll and Korky (Kaye Sheda) Wright all of Evansdale; his mother of Tipton; four grandchildren; stepson, John (Kim Biggs ) Gohr of Charles City, Iowa; stepdaughter, Angie (Mark) Hommez of St. Ansgar, Iowa; his sister, Elaine (Tom) Ferguson of Lisbon, Iowa; two brothers, Gary (Janet) Driscoll of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Gerald Driscoll of Tipton.

Preceding Rich in death were; his father, and one brother Steve Driscoll.

Mass of Christian Burial will occur 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Waterloo, Iowa. Burial will be in the Shawver Cemetery rural Tipton. Scripture Service will be 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Richardson Funeral Home in Cedar Falls, Iowa, where friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, calling at the church Wednesday, for one hour prior to service time. Memorials maybe directed to the family.
