CEDAR FALLS - Joseph "Joe" Waller, 93, of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, March 27, at Windsor Nursing and Rehab Center.

He was born July 7, 1917, in Easton, Mo., son of Leonard A. and Mary M. Fischer Waller. He married Yvonne Kidder on Feb. 21, 1941, in Cedar Falls.

Mr. Waller was employed as a supervisor with John Deere, retiring in 1979, and was a member of First United Methodist Church, Cedar Falls.

Survived by his wife; two sons, Dennis (Charlene) of Cedar Falls and Ronald (Barbara) of Washington; three granddaughters; two stepgrandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; a brother, Jim (Mardella) of Manson; and a sister, Delores White of Easton.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence and Herbert; and three sisters, Mary Waller, Venita Shivers and Monica White.

Services 10:30 a.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Richardson Funeral Home, and for an hour before services Thursday at the church.
