REINERS, BRINKMAN, BAILEY, DEBOWER

EVANSDALE — Anna J. Reiners, 91, of Monticello, formerly of Evansdale, died Wednesday, March 2, at Monticello Nursing and Rehab Center of cancer.

She was born Sept. 26, 1919, in Kesley, daughter of Johan and Johanna Brinkman. On March 7, 1943, she married Louis Reiners in Waverly. He died Sept. 21, 1996.

Mrs. Reiners graduated from the Little School House, Bristow.

Survived by a son, Jim (Karen) of Evansdale; a daughter, Judy (Ron) Bailey of Monticello; 11 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.

Preceded in death by a grandson, Steve Bailey; a brother, Vern Brinkman; and a sister, Etta DeBower.

Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Evansdale, preceded by an hour of visitation. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, New Hartford. Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, Waterloo, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Anna was a great cook and a kind and giving Christian woman. She loved all of her family and was very proud of her grand and great-grandchildren; at 91, she knew all of their birthdays. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
