EVANSDALE - Annie A. Frickson, 80, of Evansdale, died at home Saturday, Feb. 26, after a lengthy illness.

She was born April 11, 1930, in Black Hawk County, daughter of Newton D. and Ida Claussen Zingg. She married Robert L. Frickson on Sept. 24, 1950, in Jesup. He died March 26, 2005.

Mrs. Frickson was a homemaker and had worked at Burger King, Waterloo, for a number of years.

Survived by three sons, Robert D. (Debbie), Richard D. (Kathy) and Rodney P. (Dona), all of Evansdale; a daughter, Ruth I. (Wayne) Avis of Evansdale; 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; three brothers, Fred (Marie) Zingg of Hazleton, Donald Zingg of Littleton and Leonard (Lois) Zingg of Phoenix; and two sisters, Vera Kinney of Cedar Rapids and Sarah Shannon of Independence.

Preceded in death by a daughter, Roberta A. Frickson; five brothers, Clarence, Ervin, George, John and Orville Zingg; and two sisters, Grace Woolsey and Jeanette Price.

Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, with burial in Fairview Cemetery, both in Waterloo. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and for an hour before services Tuesday at the funeral home.
